ice-what?

and of course, a day is never really ever complete without ice cream!

now here in little ol' Singapore, ice cream parlours a springing up and selling their franchises before you can say 'ice-what?' of course its understandable: we are literally summer all year long with the humidity simply waiting to be conquered by a little cup of ice cream. i am a cup person of course, not really a cone person. melted ice cream on a cone completely defeats the fact that we are trying to beat the humidity and the heat (stickiness does not go well with both). and according to some of the best gelato/gelati makers, gelato/ice cream should not be eaten in a cone! so there!



ice cream with the boyfriend yesterday was perfect! yum. we patronise a few ice cream parlours (too) regularly, and of the few, one near his place which serves amazing and unique variety. we had the lychee martini (my favourite) and coconut this time round :)

i simply love this picture! doesn't it seem like it is a huge-ass bathtub filled with icecream next to a road? double yum. its all about perspectives, my dear!
